About the Sculptor Dagan Shklovsky was born in Kibbutz Merhavia in 1965, and grew up and went to school in the valley. In 1991 he began studying at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and in 1992 he left his studies in order to “try something else that would satisfy his soul”. Two months after making that decision, the work on the sculpture garden began and it has been growing ever since it emerged. In May 1997 the sculptor met his future wife Inbar, in the sculpture garden in Merhavia, and in October 2002 their daughter Tiltan was born.
